White Oak bark (Quercus alba)
The tannins and saponins found in a White Oak especially ellagitannin, has powerful astringent action which reduce swelling of tissue and helps to control bleeding or hemorrhage. Tannins bind liquids, absorb toxins, and soothe inflamed tissues. White Oak Bark is also rich in calcium.
Red Clover flower (Trifolium pratense)
This herb is rich in nutrients, especially Molybdenum, an essential nutrient which aids in cleansing the system. The nutrients from Red Clover aid in the healing process.
Comfrey root (Symphytum officinalis)
Comfrey contains allantoin which increases the speed that cells are created, thereby decreasing healing time of wounds. Its other common names are knitbone and boneset which gives an indication of how valuable it is in treating broken bones or dislocation. Comfrey also helps arrest all sorts of hemorrhaging or bleeding.
Marshmallow root (Althea officinalis)
The major active constituent is mucilage, a slippery substance made of polysaccharides thought to protect irritated or inflamed mucous membranes. This herb helps to soothe inflamed areas.
Mullein leaf (Verbascum thapsus)
Mullein has a very high mucilage content making it valuable for soothing inflamed tissues.
Gravel root (Eupatorium purpureum)
Also known as purple flower boneset, it relaxes and tones, providing energy. It is also used to relieve pain.
Lobelia aerial parts (Lobelia inflata)
Lobelia is a powerful relaxant and its relaxant properties are very helpful when pets are wounded or uncomfortable.
Skullcap aerial parts (Scutellaria lateriflora)
Skullcap is an herbal sedative helpful in reducing anxiety associated with pain.
Black Walnut hulls (Juglans nigra)
This herb oxygenates the blood and has a high iodine content which makes it an antiseptic useful in healing.
Cayenne fruit (Capsicum annuum)
Cayenne is used as a catalyst in this herbal combination to aid in the absorption and effectiveness of the blend.
Determine your pet’s weight. Select the correct dose based on this weight from the chart below. Using the included plastic dropper, squirt appropriate dose directly onto your pet’s food.
